Scott Macdonald
Scott Macdonald is Chief Financial Officer for STARZ.
As CFO, Macdonald is responsible for accounting, financial planning and analysis, internal financial reporting, treasury operations as well as facility operations out of the company’s Greenwood Village office.
Prior to assuming the role of CFO in July 2012, Macdonald was Executive Vice President, Finance, Accounting and Treasurer. Before assuming accounting and financial responsibilities for all of STARZ and its subsidiaries in 2007, Macdonald served as STARZ Media’s Senior Vice President, Finance, Accounting and Controller from October 2006.
Macdonald enjoyed more than 30 years of experience in the cable and satellite television industry in various finance and accounting roles before joining STARZ.
He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer for Adelphia Communications Corporation. In addition, Macdonald worked for AT&T Broadband as Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller, and for PRIMESTAR, Inc., serving as Vice President, Controller.
Macdonald received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Wyoming. He is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants.
